INSIDE THE COURSE

What You'll Learn

Base & Posture First

Master the foundational mechanics—base and posture—that make every guard pass possible before learning a single technique.

What Matters Most

Focus your training on the specific elements that actually drive skill development, instead of collecting endless passing techniques.

A Complete Passing Sequence

Learn the full process from uncrossing ankles and securing the thigh through completing and securing the pass itself.

Train, Don't Just Drill

Use dedicated training methods for each component—base, posture, thigh control, and the pass—to build skills that transfer to live rolling.

Defend While You Pass

Learn to defend against collar chokes and arm locks during the pass, so counters don't stop your progress.

Modern Guard Considerations

Address advanced guard systems like De La Riva and X-Guard, keeping your passing game relevant against today's guard players.
